Hansha is a single-player abstract strategy game that combines elements of chess, pinball, and money management.

The goal of Hansha is to roll the ball as many times as you can without running out of money. However, rolling the ball costs more and more money as the game progresses, and the only way to earn money is to roll the ball into the various bumpers scattered across the board. A more detailed explanation of the rules can be found within the game.

CONTROLS:
  • Arrow Keys to move the cursor
  • Z or C to select
  • X to cancel
  • P to pause

I developed Hansha as part of a five-week-long game development challenge, during which I forced myself to make one PICO-8 game every week in order to learn how to use PICO-8. This was the third of five games that I developed for this challenge.
